Local government system

The local bodies or local government system in pakistan elections are due this year in august apparently.

The government of pakistan have the chance to change the local government system so that the elections are held every two years increasing the chances of getting rid of incompetent, corrupt or rubbish nazims across pakistan and increasing any parties chance of getting into power to show people what their party can do in power.

Also by changing the elections to only two years instead of 4 years, people in pakistan have a greater opportunity of deciding who is rubbish and who is incompetent and who should not get elected.

This will help democracy, help provincial and central government system unlike the unaccountable commissioner system which is rife and ready for mass corruption on a massive scale.

I put this view across to people what would you prefer: people that are not accountable to anybody using money from people in your area as they like or  politicians who you can throw out of power in 2 years by the ballot box.

This is my point to people in paksitan why make people’s life difficult in pakistan and encourage return to people favouring the military over democracy as the best way to run pakistan.

I personally dont get why politicians let themselves in for this sort of thing in pakistan afterall its like political suicide by all the major political parties.

When people in uk will get offered referendums in their area to have certain laws in that area under one party possibly in uk, pakistan politicians seem to want to have military run pakistan politics.

Lots of people support the military and i support the last president who was an ex-COAS and pakistan military but i would like them to a force that only comes into action on request of people and politicians of pakistan.

I would ask the current politicians in the national assembly what do you have against giving people elections every 2 years to make the local government system better in terms of people having better elected local governments and why are politicians not helping change the system so democracy and their parties have a good chance of being in power in pakistan to show people what their party can do.

Local government system should be used as a way to allow democracy to stand the test of time in pakistan and get people to want more of this system in terms of better politicians, new people joining parties, voting for people to come into power to change and reform and better policies for pakistan.
